Don’t Rotate if You’re NOT a GOOD Kicker!

So, one thing that I can say definitively on rotation is that if you aren’t a good kicker, having a heavily rotated stroke is not for you. The heavily rotated stroke itself, if you don’t have a good kick, you’re gonna have a lot of dead space going on in that stroke, and it’s necessary, it’s not going to make it any faster for you, so it might be smoother, might feel cleaner, but at the end of the day, speed-wise if we’re looking at speed, you’re not going to be generating a ton of speed. If you’re not a good kicker and you have a heavily rotated Freestyle stroke, then you better like kick sets if you want to swim with the rotated stroke.
