How long you should glide is determined by which stroke you’re using if you’re using a distance per stroke stroke. In general, once again, caveat general rule of thumb is to glide for one second, I told my swimmers to glide for one banana. But if you’re someone who has a question more powerful kick you can actually glide longer so it depends on what speed you start out with it and how aggressively does that speed slow you down. So is your body like good? Are you do you have your hands open? Ss your head up? If you start out with a higher speed than normally seen in longer you start out with a lower speed than you obviously see and it’s less.
