For me, the Freestyle Kick is one of the most utilized kicks out of all of them. You train Freestyle more than any other stroke, so having a strong Freestyle kick is essential to having a solid Freestyle. Freestyle is the stroke you’re doing 60-70% of the time at practices, so it is a fundamental skill for any swimmer regardless if you’re trying to make the Olympic Team, you do Triathlons, you’re on a Masters Swim Program, or maybe you are even learning to swim.
